Megali Sholi
Operating support
For partial operating support for two academic years.
The Stavros Niarchos Foundation is coordinating a collective effort to fund the operating expenses for Megali Sholi. The other collaborating partners are the Bodossaki Foundation, the Eugenidou Foundation and the A. G. Leventis Foundation.
Megali Sholi, the first academy of the Greek nation, symbolizes the historic presence of the Hellenic element in Constantinople. It is one of the few schools that educate the younger generation of the Greek community of Constantinople. The school currently has 64 students.
